Everything your typical concreted in post is guaranteed to do and more. We also have a 5 year craftsmanship warranty that covers gate adjustment, panel adjustments, and anything else that may arise.

Ridgeline Fence and Deck is the undisputed leader when it comes the quality of cedar used in the Minneapolis Metro. We only use appearance grade rough cut red western 2x4's for each project as the main support beams between our galvanized steel posts. For our pickets and 1x4's we use clear grade (no knots) kiln dried cedar that elevates the visual appeal of any fence and makes it more resilient to problems like boards splitting and warping that is more commonly in boards with knots.

We know for a fact that you will never have any issues with your posts as they are made from long lasting galvanized steel and won't present the same issues that typical wood or concreted posts will. If you choose a wood fence it should last anywhere from 20-30 years and potentially longer, if a fresh coat of oiled based sealant is applied every couple of years. Vinyl and ornamental should last anywhere from 30-40 years before needing to be replaced.

Because we specialize in the driven method of installing posts, we do not have to wait 1-2 weeks for concrete to cure. You will also have the same crew installing your project start to finish so their is no delays or miscommunication during the project.
